Workshop on mentoring strategies coming up

The Teaching and Learning Commons is hosting a workshop titled “Entering Mentoring: Establishing Expectations & Developing Effective Communication with Your Mentee” Feb. 23 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Room 120 of the Advanced Engineering Research building (directly across from the Evansdale Library).

Workshop participants will work with a community of faculty peers to develop and enhance their mentoring skills. Participants will work to develop, refine, and articulate a personal mentoring philosophy and gain skill in multiple strategies for dealing with mentoring challenges.
