Gordon Gee has joined the Forward50, an initiative working toward student equity, success and outcomes. The group is comprised of leaders from all sectors of postsecondary education institutions and will produce four white papers on policy areas regarding access, affordability, accountability and transparency in higher education.

“I am excited to join the other members of the Forward50 in creating solutions that demolish obstacles and propel students toward success,” Gee said.

With grant funding from the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation, the Higher Education Committee of 50, or Forward50, aims to offer Congress and the higher-education community practical solutions to issues that affect college students every day.
