Leadership and Organization Development is providing an opportunity for supervisors who would like to develop strong practices around coaching, setting performance expectations and goal setting. The half-day session Feb. 1 will introduce the five elements of emotional intelligence. Learners will discuss how emotional intelligence influences coaching and development of others. Each participant will walk away with tools and resources to help them guide conversation and outcomes around performance standards and goals. “Supervisor Solutions: Introduction to Coaching takes place from noon to 4 p.m. in the Shenandoah Room in the Mountainlair.
