West Virginia has become an example to the nation of the ravages of opioid addiction. As the state’s flagship university, WVU believes it is its responsibility to search for solutions in all areas—whether it be medical laboratories, clinics, board rooms or classrooms. This fall’s Academic Media Day, sponsored by University Relations/Communication, today (Nov. 13) brings together experts and researchers from around campus to meet with reporters and editors to provide a broad view of how the University is approaching the problem.
