Celebrate West Virginia Day this year by cleaning up the Monongahela River with the West Virginia Water Research Institute and Ascend WV from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 20.
A portion of University Avenue on the Downtown area of campus will be closed from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday (May 8) as graduating students enjoy GradFest outside the Mountainlair, Elizabeth Moore Hall and in Woodburn Circle.
The Parking Management Office at Mountaineer Station will be closed Friday (May 10). Normal hours of operation will resume Monday (May 13).
Day of Play, hosted by the Get Moving! Organization and founded by Elizabeth Oppe, a teaching professor in the Reed College of Media, provides an opportunity for kids ages 4 to 12 to participate in activities with WVU student-athletes.
The WVU community is invited to learn about the positive effects of meditation on the mind and body during a four-part series beginning May 16 and continuing monthly through August.
