Jessie Wilkerson, associate professor and Stuart and Joyce Robbins Distinguished Chair of History in the Eberly College of Arts and Sciences, is a finalist for a Dan Jenkins Medal for Excellence in Sportswriting for her article “Lady Vols Country,” which appeared in the Summer 2023 volume of Oxford American.

Hosted by the WVU Heart and Vascular Institute and Dr. Vinay Badhwar, HCOP students visited campus to learn about the Institute’s innovative therapies and approach to patient-centered care while gaining insights into the field of cardiovascular surgery.
The Research Office is offering sessions in July and August for the community to learn about features of the new system that will replace WVU+kc, the WVU Research Administration Portal. The sessions are in preparation for the Jan. 13 go-live of Grants, Agreements, Conflict of Interest and the WVCTSI Clinical Trial Center Of Excellence.
To qualify, student-athletes must maintain a 3.0 GPA or higher either cumulative or the two previous semesters and must have participated in 20% of their team's scheduled contests.
Rifle team members Molly McGhin, a graduating senior majoring in psychology, and Natalie Perrin, a rising senior majoring in multidisciplinary studies, were named to the 2024 Academic All-District At-Large Teams.
For the second year in a row, golfer Will Stakel, a graduating senior majoring in finance, has been named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District At-Large Team.
