Students in the College of Creative Arts perform more than 300 events per year in many venues across campus, Morgantown and the state. Many of the events are free to the public and family-friendly.
The workshop will take place on Saturday (Feb. 3) at West Virginia University’s Erickson Alumni Center from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The competitions are hosted annually by the BrickStreet Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, which operates out of the WVU College of Business and Economics.
A resurgence in popularity of locally grown, quality food has led to farmers markets and food related festivals springing up all across the Mountain State. The marquee educational event organized and hosted by the WVU Extension Service Small Farm Center is the West Virginia Small Farm Conference with more than 110 classes and nine conference tracks for farmers to take advantage of to help their operations run more efficiently and profitably. The conference takes place in Morgantown at the Morgantown Marriott Waterfront Place Feb. 21-24.
All faculty are invited to join the Office of Global Affairs at the First Friday event at the Erickson Alumni Center Friday (Feb. 2) from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Kennedy Club Room.
The Division of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion will host a reception to pay tribute to David M. Fryson, who served as the first Chief Diversity Officer and Vice President of the Division.
