This month we will hear from Joy Carr and MaryBeth Angeline regarding changes and updates to the ALEKS placement exam, Marcedes Minana from Adventure WV First Year Programs will highlight changes to those programs that are anticipated to be our largest and Taylor Richmond will be back to demo the new TESS program and highlight changes to the online transfer equivalency program and protocol.

Members of the Western Equestrian Team are busily preparing to host – and compete in – the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association Western Semi-Finals. The event is set for March 17-18 at the J.W. Ruby Research Farm in Reedsville, and marks two major milestones for the university and its equine studies program.

After 25 years with WVU, Dr. Alan Ducatman is retiring. The Department of Occupational and Environmental Health Sciences at the WVU School of Public Health is hosting a celebration from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. April 20 in the Pylons Area, Health Sciences Center, North.

 

The WVU Cancer Institute Mary Babb Randolph Cancer Center will offer free skin cancer screenings from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, May 10, at the Cancer Center. Advance registration is required by May 7. Call 304.598.4500 to make an appointment.
