The 2024 National Academic Advising Conference was held in Pittsburgh Oct. 27-30, providing professional and faculty academic advisers and administrators from across the country, including WVU, a chance to network with peers, share best practices and highlight recent successes. The University made a strong showing at the conference with more than two dozen attendees, multiple presenters and a scholarship winner.
Robynn Shannon, director of curriculum development in the Office of the Provost, will offer workshops on the curriculum mapping process for anyone who is or will be involved in developing a curriculum map for their academic program.
The WVU community is encouraged to celebrate the achievements of faculty colleagues and the WVU Press from 4-6 p.m. today (Oct. 22) in the Downtown Library, Milano Reading Room. Doors will open at 4 p.m. and remarks will begin at 4:30 p.m.
