The family of a surgical technology student who lives in Asheville, North Carolina, reported that personal hygiene products are some of the most requested items by victims. In less than a week, students collected more than $700 worth of supplies.
This spring semester, NSG 470: Advanced Lifesaving Technologies, will be offered to School of Nursing seniors. The course is an introduction to various machines used in the ICU and will be led by Patricia Maramba.
The Beckley Campus Student Nurses' Association partnered with WVU Tech SGA to purchase supplies to be sent to a distribution center in North Carolina while Bridgeport Campus students hosted a donation drive for Asheville residents who were affected by flooding.
