West Virginia University’s quest for innovation can be seen in the way it addresses curriculum for students who face an ever-changing job market, the issues facing the Mountain State and in its groundbreaking research, President Gordon Gee said Monday in his annual State of the University address.

The campus community is invited to an open forum for the Director of Admission Operations position. Candidate Allison Flynn will present on “Trends in Admission Processing That Would Be Beneficial at WVU” Tuesday (Oct. 9) at 3 p.m. in the Laurel Room of the Mountainlair.

West Virginia youths can join 75,000 of their peers in “discovering the treasures of 4-H” during National 4-H Week, held Oct. 7-13. West Virginia 4-H is a free youth development program of the West Virginia University Extension Service that builds leadership skills, strengthens communities and emphasizes a “learn by doing” approach to education.
