Elaine Ginsberg, former department chair and professor at the Eberly College, died on Aug. 9. She served the University as a generous mentor and an innovative administrator for 35 years before retiring in 2000.

The Center for Financial Literacy and Education will host an exclusive screening of the award-winning documentary “This is Not Financial Advice” followed by a discussion with its Los Angeles-based film director beginning at 5:30 p.m. tomorrow (Oct. 3) in Reynolds Hall, Esbenshade Auditorium.

The WVU Office of Human Research Protections will simplify processes for Not Human Subjects Research and for projects that don’t require IRB review beginning Dec. 9. Any new and pending NHSR protocol submissions should be submitted by Nov. 22 to allow for sufficient time for processing ahead of the transition date. WVU+kc will not accept NHSR protocol submissions after Dec. 9.
WVU junior Kaleb Wilson shot 7-under-par at the inaugural Nemacolin Collegiate Invitational to win his first collegiate tournament. As a team, the Mountaineers won a tournament for the 10th time since the program has been reinstated.
