Stop in to sing with the West Virginia Community Choir at our Spring Term Meet & Greet Jan. 7 at 7 p.m. at the Creative Arts Center. This one-day trial — with lite refreshments — is free, and offers a great opportunity to warm up your vocal cords and experience the camaraderie of singing with others.
WVU Sustainability is holding the first of its biannual book recycling drives during the week of Jan. 28. This effort is intended primarily for hardback books, but you may also include paperback books, journals, magazines and pamphlets, as well.
The University is hosting New Student Orientation today (Jan. 3). Activities are planned throughout the day at the Mountainlair and downtown campus. As a result, parking will be limited and eateries will be busy around lunchtime.
WVU Environmental, Health and Safety has released its 2019 training calendar. The courses are designed to educate and maintain a safe working and learning environment for faculty, staff and students.
