Long-time rivals, West Virginia and Virginia Tech, will battle for the Black Diamond Trophy for the first time in 12 years on Sept. 2 at FedExField in Landover, Maryland. Beginning this week, MAC members and season ticket holders will be mailed a priority ticket request form to be returned no later than April 28.

The Mountaineer football team is coming off a 10-win season in 2016 and a No. 18 final national ranking, the women’s soccer team was national runner-up in its first-ever College Cup appearance and finished the year ranked second in the country.
There will be several promotions for the No. 22/23-ranked West Virginia University women’s basketball team’s noon matchup with Iowa State on Saturday (Feb. 4) at the WVU Coliseum.

Athletics in conjunction with the WVU Alumni Association will host a Networking and Preparation for Life After Collegiate Athletics Forum for student-athletes as part of the Pioneer Sessions series.
