Priority Ticket Requests  

Long-time rivals, West Virginia and Virginia Tech, will battle for the Black Diamond Trophy for the first time in 12 years on Sept. 2 at FedExField in Landover, Maryland. Beginning this week, MAC members and season ticket holders will be mailed a priority ticket request form to be returned no later than April 28.

 

The Mountaineer football team is coming off a 10-win season in 2016 and a No. 18 final national ranking, the women’s soccer team was national runner-up in its first-ever College Cup appearance and finished the year ranked second in the country.

 

There will be several promotions for the No. 22/23-ranked West Virginia University women’s basketball team’s noon matchup with Iowa State on Saturday (Feb. 4) at the WVU Coliseum.

 

With several new options for the 2017 season, mini plan ticket packages for the 2017 West Virginia University baseball season are on sale now.

 

Athletics in conjunction with the WVU Alumni Association will host a Networking and Preparation for Life After Collegiate Athletics Forum for student-athletes as part of the Pioneer Sessions series. Former student-athletes Pat White, Meg Bulger and Charles Emmanuel will be panelists. The event, free to all participants, will be at 6 p.m. on Feb. 8 at the Erickson Alumni Center. Following two career-best performances, as well as a season-high routine, in the No. 25-ranked Mountaineer gymnastics team's sweep at the Coliseum on Jan. 29, junior Robyn Bernard has been named the WVU Student-Athlete of the Week, presented by University Apartments.
