SGA and the Residence Hall Association will host Josh Rivedal, who will share his thought-provoking story of his struggle from clinical depression and suicide. Rivedal will share how he coped with his father's suicide and his journey to live mentally well Jan. 31 from 6-8 p.m. in the Mountainlair Ballrooms.

The Center for Black Culture and Research is sponsoring the MLK Unity Breakfast in the Mountainlair Ballrooms at 8 a.m. Jan. 21. This year’s keynote speaker is Meshea Poore, vice president of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
This exhibit, which runs Jan. 20-May 15, takes a look at his collection and some notable times where he and his notable ties were worn and honored, with a selection of his ties, photographs and personal objects. A reception with Gee will be held Feb. 6 from 5-6 p.m.
Donations will be accepted through Feb. 1 in 1413 Agricultural Sciences Building or at the J.W. Ruby Research Farm in Reedsville. No large items will be accepted. The indoor yard sale will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sun., Feb. 10, in the Hazel Ruby McQuain Equine Education and Resource Center at the J.W. Ruby Research Farm.
