Spring Finale Schedule Adjustment  

The West Virginia University women’s soccer team’s spring season finale on April 29 against Duquesne will be played in Pittsburgh at 5 p.m.

Jake Armstrong  

Following his conference win in the men’s 100 breaststroke at the 2017 Big 12 Swimming and Diving Championship this past weekend in Austin, sophomore Jake Armstrong of West Virginia University men’s swimming team has been named the WVU Student-Athlete of the Week, presented by University Apartments.

With a significant lead built in day one at the Great American Rifle Conference (GARC) Championships, the No. 2-ranked West Virginia University rifle team did its job today at the University of Akron’s Louis and Freda Stile Athletic Field House, shooting a winning 2384 air rifle and securing its eighth straight GARC Championship title with a 4725 total.

Women's Basketball Seniors  

West Virginia University women’s basketball seniors’ Lanay Montgomery and Desiree Rhodes will be recognized on Senior Night, Monday, Feb. 27, in a 7 p.m. contest against the Kansas Jayhawks at the WVU Coliseum.

Mountaineer Athletic Club Senior Associate Athletic Director and Executive Director Ben Murray has announced that Kevin Miller will now assume the role of associate athletic director for major gifts and capital campaigns within the MAC.
