The National Weather Service will conduct a statewide tornado test alert beginning at 10:30 a.m. today (March 19). Sirens will blare, weather alert radios will activate and test emergency broadcast messages will interrupt television and radio programming as the test alert begins.

Inspired by March Madness brackets, this event will feature eight clients in three head-to-head rounds. Join us for an evening of knockout style competition Wednesday (March 27) from 5-7 p.m. Students, faculty, and community members will have the opportunity to push their favorite innovators through each round. Cash prizes will be awarded to the winners to move their ideas forward.
This workshop is a collaborative effort by the Office of the Associate Provost for Academic Personnel and the Teaching and Learning Commons. It will take place April 4 from 3 - 4:30 p.m. in the Rhododendron Room of the Mountainlair.

Hardesty Jr. Festival of Ideas will feature former ACLU president Nadine Strossen as she dissects Constitutional law to share current challenges to our civil liberties today, stimulating thoughtful consideration of democratic ideals Tuesday (March 19). This free event will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Mountainlair Ballroom.
