The Department of History has been selected to host Anna Fenyvesi, a Fulbright Research Scholar from Hungary who will study the heritage of Appalachian Hungarians, mostly those who settled in the region from 1880 until 1924.

The gift supports improvements to the reservoir engineering and core analysis lab, located in the Mineral Resources Building on the Evansdale area of campus. The renovated facility will be known as the BHE GT&S Foundation Core/Reservoir Lab in recognition of the Foundation’s generosity.
Senior Andrew Fried just completed the internship of a lifetime — working as an operations runner for the 2024 Summer Olympics — while alumna Ceili McCabe placed seventh in the second heat of the 3,000-meter steeplechase for Team Canada.

Eberly College’s Department of Philosophy, the Religious Studies Program and Multidisciplinary Studies Programs have relocated to Hodges Hall.
