The Department of History has been selected to host Anna Fenyvesi, a Fulbright Research Scholar from Hungary who will study the heritage of Appalachian Hungarians, mostly those who settled in the region from 1880 until 1924.

Evansdale Campus  

The gift supports improvements to the reservoir engineering and core analysis lab, located in the Mineral Resources Building on the Evansdale area of campus. The renovated facility will be known as the BHE GT&S Foundation Core/Reservoir Lab in recognition of the Foundation’s generosity.

Tune in at 7 p.m. Tuesday (Aug. 27) to hear about the Statler College alumna’s journey from engineering classrooms to zero gravity and her upcoming mission that will make her the first West Virginia woman in outer space.
