Buffalo Wild Wings will host a blood drive with the American Red Cross April 17 from 12:30-6 p.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn, Suncrest Towne Center Plaza. In addition to donors, volunteers are also needed to work the blood drive. Volunteers will earn the amount of time worked.

Students, staff and faculty will pack thousands of meals as part of annual Global Youth Service Day Saturday (April 13) to be distributed throughout Monongalia County in partnership with the Family Resource Network of the United Way. The event will be held at the Rec Center Saturday from 8:30-10:30 a.m.
WVU celebrates Earth Day each year with a series of events. Various departments host opportunities to personally minimize impacts on the planet, to learn what WVU is doing to be a steward of environmental resources and to recognize the beauty of our surroundings.

The Academic Advising Council will host its annual Advising Celebration April 16 from 3 - 4:30 p.m. in the Kennedy Room of the Erickson Alumni Center.
Timothy Eads will officially begin his reign as the 2019-2020 Mountaineer Mascot when current Mountaineer, Trevor Kiess, passes the rifle to him in a formal ceremony Thursday (April 11). The ceremony will take place in the Barnette Board of Governors Room in the Erickson Alumni Center at 4:30 p.m. for a reception and 5 p.m. for the program.
