As part of continuing efforts to promote a safe and secure campus community, the West Virginia University Police Department and the Office of Emergency Management will hold an on-campus training exercise Wednesday, May 29, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The upcoming Graduate Emeritus Weekend will be held June 7-8, honoring the West Virginia University Class of 1969 and celebrating all graduates from classes prior.
Soak up some sun and get some fresh air with our new Summer Outdoor group fitness series. Starting June 4, outdoor classes will be offered on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays throughout June and July.
NSO helps students prepare for their first semester as they learn about campus, explore academic programs and work with an academic adviser to create a class schedule. It will be a busy time for staff and faculty. Welcome students and their families to our campus for these important sessions.
Scheduled for June 15-20 at the State Fire Academy at WVU Jackson’s Mill in Weston, this annual camp places youths in the action to prepare campers to be future firefighters and emergency operations personnel. Registration is still open for those who are interested. The deadline for priority registration is May 28. A $50 late fee applies to those registering after the deadline. To participate, campers must be ages 14 -17. Tuition costs are $325 which includes meals, lodging and six required camp t-shirts; scholarships are available to those who qualify.
Registration for lessons this summer will run from June 1 - August 1 and can be completed at the front desk of the Student Rec Center.
