West Virginia University and the Big 12 Conference have announced the game times and television schedule for the 2017-18 men's basketball season. The Mountaineers will have all 31 of their regular season games on television, including 25 regular season games on national television (ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, CBS). AT&T SportsNet Pittsburgh will televise six contests, including the exhibition.

Philipp Matlari  

After leading WVU to a first-place finish at the Janney VCU Shootout, West Virginia golf sophomore Philipp Matlari has been named the WVU Student-Athlete of the Week, presented by University Apartments.

WVU football coach  

Three letters described Saturday's game in Lawrence, Kansas - H-O-T. It was very hot out there, the thermometer exceeding 100 degrees on the field, and the oppressive heat unquestionably played a role in the 1,199 yards and 90 points the two teams put up during the afternoon.

Diversity Cup winners holding trophy  

The College of Physical Activity and Sport Sciences, in partnership with Campus Recreation and the Sport Management Club, will celebrate the spirit of sport, friendship and inclusiveness during Diversity Week 2017 by sponsoring the Third Annual Diversity Cup Five vs. Five Coed Soccer Tournament.

WVU gymnastics  

The Mountaineers have spent the four previous weeks partaking in open gym sessions. The squad's first competition will be in January, and a complete 2018 competition schedule will be released in the coming weeks.

WVU wrestler takes down opponent  

The schedule consists of three open tournaments and 13 dual matches – six of which will take place at the WVU Coliseum. The Mountaineers will wrestle eight Big 12 duals, hosting three.
