The Morgantown Police Department will alter downtown parking and traffic patterns starting at 5 p.m. today (Nov. 11) for the Veterans Day Parade. The parade will begin on High Street at 6 p.m. and conclude at 7 p.m.

WVU Jackson’s Mill invites the community to get into the holiday spirit by participating in Breakfast with Santa from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Dec. 7. Registration is open to the first 400 people to sign up by Nov. 22.
Faculty, staff, students and Morgantown community members are invited to join University Police for an open P.R.O.T.E.C.T. training to learn valuable self-defense techniques. The training will be held from 5-9 p.m. Monday (Nov. 11) in the Student Health Building, Room 101.
This family-friendly event will include cookies and hot cocoa, a variety of fun and interactive activities for children, a free photo with Santa and a few special surprises to put you and yours in the holiday spirit Dec. 8 at the Erickson Alumni Center.
Hundreds of prospective students and families will participate in events on all areas of campus from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday (Nov. 9) for the Discover WVU Open House.
During Mountaineer Week (Nov. 11-17), take part in celebrating the Mountain State’s folk music traditions with stories of past performers who maintained these traditions and a musical performance bringing folk songs to life. Mark your calendar for 6 p.m. Nov. 14.
