The Teaching and Learning Commons has announced a new round of workshops this semester on effective teaching and learning.

All WVU students and employees are invited to attend on-campus focus groups to learn more about the work being done by the Office of Health Promotion and Wellness and to provide feedback on the current climate of wellbeing at WVU.
In this 90-minute session, we will connect with other instructors, discuss common challenging conversations and collaboratively strategize on how to best lead our students during these conversations.
The Breakfast, sponsored by The Center for Black Culture and Research Monday, Jan. 20 in the Mountainlair Ballrooms at 8 a.m., is an opportunity for the WVU and greater Morgantown communities to come together to celebrate the life and legacy of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. , and to recognize those in our community who have worked to uphold the principles of equity and social justice that he lived and gave his life for.
WVU’s Pi Lambda Phi committee will commemorate the 75th anniversary of the liberation of the largest German Nazi concentration and extermination camp with a live-stream of events Jan. 27 by the Memorial and Museum at Auschwitz-Birkenau.
Proposals should be submitted online and are due Feb. 1. Spaces fill up quickly. Proposals selected for the festival will be shared in all publicity materials that list presentation topics and sponsoring organization.
