University supporters are being asked to step up for students tomorrow, (May 5) during #GivingTuesdayNow, a global day of giving and unity created to help meet the unprecedented need caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Students, faculty, staff and friends are invited to attend the Collegiate Recovery Virtual Graduation Celebration May 15 at 11 a.m.
The program is holding a series of community pick-up events around the state thanks to the help of community partners. The first event will be held today (April 30) from 2-6 p.m. at Jones United Methodist Church at 333 Green Street in Morgantown.
The Summer Term runs May 18-Aug. 7 and all on-campus courses are being transitioned to online delivery.

Food insecurity is a persistent problem in Appalachia. The U.S. Department of Agriculture defines the term as a “condition of limited or uncertain access to adequate food. Join a conversation Thursday (April 30) at 6 p.m. about how we can further our efforts to combat this societal challenge while we are serving at home.
The Teaching and Learning Commons is offering a Summer Remote Teaching Institute to assist instructors transitioning courses to online delivery. This self-paced institute runs for four weeks with opportunities for live consultations throughout.
