The WVU Center for Black Culture and Research presents author Deesha Philyaw as the keynote speaker for the MLK convocation slated for Jan. 14 at noon. Her book, “The Secret Lives of Church Ladies,” was published by the WVU Press and named a finalist in the 2020 National Book Award in Fiction.

The WVU Collegiate Recovery Program will offer an All Recovery meeting open to any faculty or staff member who identifies as being in recovery. The meeting will take place virtually every Wednesday at noon starting Jan. 20.
