The University plans to host a Pfizer only ‘family vaccination clinic’ today (May 12) from 4-7 p.m. at the Student Rec Center in the upper gym. Minors (12-15 years old) of WVU employees will be eligible to receive the Pfizer vaccine pending a vote and approval by the CDC Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP). Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

The Alumni Center will host a virtual conversation with key WVU leaders and researchers Gay Stewart, John Stewart and Matthew Campbell to hear more about the unique and interactive programs they offer to increase access to high-quality STEM education around the state today (May 12) at 7 p.m.
The WVU faculty and staff Dining with Diabetes program will be offered May 19, 26, June 2 and 9 from 4 to 6 p.m. There are a few spots remaining, so participants interested in the program should register online as soon as possible. Registration will be limited to 40 participants.
The Internal Audit Office will conduct a series of interviews across the University as part of the annual risk assessment process to aid in selecting areas of focus for the upcoming year.
WVU will host a vaccination clinic today (May 11) from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Student Rec Center in the upper gym. Anyone interested in receiving a Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer or Moderna vaccine may walk in on a first-come, first-served basis. Both first and second doses will be offered for Pfizer and Moderna.
For this week only, COVID-19 testing that is usually conducted by Monongalia County Health Department at the WVU Rec Center will be held as a drive-through event at Morgantown Municipal Airport. As usual, testing will take place from 9-11 a.m. Monday (May 10) and Friday (May 14).
