In a two-part event Feb 3 and 4, the LGBTQ+ Center will seek to educate the community on legislative updates as well as how to properly connect with your representatives through handwritten letters.

The WVU Humanities Center will host a hybrid workshop for faculty members on the value of Humanistic STEM learning in academia Friday, Feb. 4, at noon in the Greenbrier Room of the Mountainlair or via Zoom.
Starting this week, the Office of the Provost will launch a series of monthly Campus Conversations focused on academic transformation topics and initiatives to engage the wider University community in dialogue about these efforts. The first session, “Academic Transformation: An Overview,” is scheduled for today (Jan. 27) at 11 a.m.
Learn about WVU’s chosen student-responses system iClicker during this online session tomorrow (Jan. 27) from 1-2 p.m. Presenters will discuss how iClicker can be used both synchronously and asynchronously and how it can be used for attendance only. Available options to help promote student engagement with this tool will also be discussed.

The Office of Sustainability will host its first book recycling collection for 2022 throughout the week of Feb. 7. The deadline to request a pickup is Feb. 2. The entire WVU community is invited to participate in the biannual book recycling program, which is designed to help departments recycle unwanted paper items from their offices and storage rooms.
