Summer is the perfect time for children and teens passionate about the arts to further explore their interests. From Cosplay to painting, the West Virginia University College of Creative Arts offers a summer program perfect for every budding artist.

Professor Joseph Lebold and Professor Emeritus Christopher Wilkinson will discuss their recently published book, “Roadside Geology of WV,” part of Mountain Press Pub. Co.’s national series, “Roadside Geology” March 12, 3 p.m. at the Village at Heritage Point. The co-authors journeyed along the roads of the Mountain State over four years, past road cuts exposing contorted rock layers, coral reefs, and ancient red soils to create this guide for travelers.

The University community is invited to attend a colloquium presented by Dr. Andrew Baker, Department of Physics and Astronomy at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, today (March 1) at 11:30 a.m. in G09 White Hall. Dr. Baker will speak on, "Dusty Star-Forming Galaxies at High Redshift."
