The sale will be held in the Douglas O. Blaney Lobby at the front entrance of the Creative Arts Center. Hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday and Friday (April 25-26).
Colleges
The West Virginia University Potomac State College Athletic Hall of Fame committee will hold its 32nd annual awards dinner Thursday (April 25) at which time they will induct Conrad Carney (Class of 1983) and Jacke Healey (Class of 2008), into the PSC Athletic Hall of Fame. Current sophomore athletes will also be recognized at this time.
West Virginia University’s College of Creative Arts hosted Talent West Virginia, a statewide musical talent contest and fundraiser April 6. Funds raised through the competition will support West Virginia Public Theatre and its mission to bring the arts to all West Virginians.
The Center for Resilient Communities is seeking current WVU students for its 2019-2020 Community Leadership and Social Action Fellowship. The year-long program will cultivate the next generation of leaders for social action in Appalachian communities and beyond.
The West Virginia University Potomac State College/Community Jazz Ensemble will present its Spring Jazz Concert Wednesday (April 24) at 7:30 p.m. in the Church-McKee Arts Center.
2L Julie Merow has been elected to an executive position in the American Bar Association Law Student Division. She is the first WVU Law student to serve in a national-level role for the organization.
