The University community is invited to a rollicking College of Creative Arts and Media puppet variety show featuring excerpts and skits from classes performed in many different puppet styles at 2 p.m. Saturday (April 26) in the Canady Creative Arts Center, Vivian Davis Michael Theatre.

The Department of Biology invites the community to join its spring ephemeral wildflower walk Sunday (April 27) at the Core Arboretum. The free guided walks will begin at noon, 12:30 p.m., 3 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Tyler Hickey came to WVU from Indiana to pursue a graduate degree in geology on the advice of a professor who was a University graduate. He was one of 24 students chosen for a prestigious national internship which aims to support graduate students going into the geothermal workforce.
