Start times and match locations have been set for the spring portion of the No. 3-ranked rifle team's 2018-19 home schedule. The Mountaineers (10-0, 5-0 GARC) return to competition against Ole Miss on Sunday, Jan. 20, at the Bill McKenzie Rifle Range inside the WVU Shell Building at 10 a.m. The match was previously scheduled for Jan. 19.

WVU Sustainability is holding the first of its biannual book recycling drives during the week of Jan. 28. This effort is intended primarily for hardback books, but you may also include paperback books, journals, magazines and pamphlets, as well.

A student entrepreneur at West Virginia University will learn how to grow his business when he studies in Hong Kong as a Gilman Scholar. Demitrus Jones, a junior majoring in entrepreneurship and innovation in the John Chambers College of Business and Economics, will attend Hong Kong Baptist University in the spring semester.

Nearly 2,700 U.S. soldiers mobilized for World War I, which ended 100 years ago, had ties to WVU. Here's a look at some of those soldiers and letters from the war that are preserved at WVU Libraries.
