A new peer-reviewed study published in the Journal of Appalachian Health shows statistically significant improvements in depression, anxiety and life satisfaction among women and girls who participated in intervention provided by the Libera program. The research was led by Elizabeth Claydon, associate professor in the School of Public Health.
The purpose of the study is to determine whether cannabidiol affects driving performance, cognition and sedation among healthy adults by dose or sex using a driving simulator. Participants who complete the study will receive a $100 Visa gift card and breakfast.
