The WVU band marching on the WVU football field.  

The latest edition of Inside WVU today features Stephen Lytle, the new associate director of bands at West Virginia University. Lytle’s role includes leading the Pride of West Virginia Mountaineer Marching Band. He talks with host April Kaull about what we can expect to see from the band this year – blending its rich history with new and exciting features.

Exhibit in the library  

The exhibit begins on the Downtown Campus Library main floor and winds up through the staircase and into the Atrium. Visual displays of scholarship, fieldwork and art by more than 20 contributors from across campus and the community cover themes ranging from environment, adventure and creativity to impact, management and pollution.

The West Virginia University office of Brand & Trademark Licensing invites all departments and student organizations to its annual Licensee Fair today (Aug. 28) from 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the Mountainlair ballrooms.

Environmental Health and Safety offers a combined Laboratory Safety, Hazard Communication, and Hazardous Waste Training twice annually in the beginning of the spring and fall semesters.The first training is scheduled for Thursday (Aug. 30) from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the Monongahela Room at the Mountainlair.
