WVU Medicine has begun relaxing the visitation restrictions that were put into place at its hospitals and clinics as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
WVU Medicine Bariatrics has been reaccredited as a comprehensive center under the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program. The accreditation demonstrates WVU Medicine’s commitment to delivering the highest quality care for its bariatric surgery patients. This is the third time WVU Medicine Bariatrics has received this three-year accreditation.

West Virginia Project ECHO is hosting a special COVID-19 session Thursday (June 18) from 12:15 to 1:15 p.m. Dr. Clay Marsh, WV COVID-19 czar, vice president and executive dean for health sciences at WVU, will present a session focused on West Virginia's response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
