As part of its commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion, the Honors College is launching its new Honoring Diversity Series. The series will feature engaging diversity and inclusion topics presented by WVU faculty and staff experts.
The meeting will be held at 8:15 a.m. Wednesday (Jan. 18) in the Bluestone Room of the Mountainlair and on Zoom.
Lou Slimak, associate provost for curriculum and assessment, will share updates on the upcoming Higher Learning Commission Accreditation visit, while Joy Carr, director of University Advising, and Carrie Showalter, assistant dean of Student Life, give updates on the reorganization and new efforts in their areas.
Faculty members are invited to a virtual meeting of the University Assembly at 3 p.m. Wednesday (Jan. 18) for a vote on the Resolution to Approve the University Procedures for Faculty Appointment, Annual Evaluation, Promotion and Tenure.
All instructors, including full- and part-time faculty and graduate teaching assistants, are welcome to attend this STEM Learning Community meeting from noon-1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 20, on Zoom.
