The Division of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion will host its 27th annual Diversity Week from Sept.15-21. The year’s theme — “Mountaineer Mosaic” — celebrates the unique cultures, perspectives and experiences that make up the Mountaineer community.

Nate Powell, a National Book Award-winning illustrator, will speak at 5 p.m. Monday (Sept. 16) at the Canady Creative Arts Center, Bloch Hall. The event will be followed by a book signing and exhibition access at the Art Museum of WVU.
Join the LGBTQ+ community and its allies for an evening of connection and community from 5-7 p.m. Sept. 19 in the Mountainlair Gold Ballroom.
Faculty and staff are invited to participate in one of the virtual or in-person Listening Sessions planned for employees through Sept. 13 in Morgantown, Beckley and Keyser. Sessions will be held for Morgantown staff today (Sept. 10).

University Army and Air Force ROTC cadets will recognize the anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks with a 24-hour vigil in front of the Downtown Library from 8 a.m. Wednesday (Sept. 11) to 8 a.m. Thursday (Sept. 12).
