For the first time in program history the doubles pair of freshman Camilla Bossi and junior Ting-Pei Chang of the West Virginia University tennis team made their debut at No. 42 on the Intercollegiate Tennis Association's doubles rankings, as announced on Wednesday.

gymnastics team  

The 2022 National Collegiate Women's Gymnastics Championships regional selections were announced on Tuesday by the NCAA. The WVU gymnastics team will compete in the play-in round of the Norman Regional, inside the Lloyd Noble Center in Norman, Oklahoma, on Wednesday, March 30.

swimmers  

Two members of the West Virginia University men's swimming and diving team are set to compete at the 2022 NCAA Men's Swimming and Diving Championships, from March 23-26, at the McAuley Aquatic Center, hosted by Georgia Tech, in Atlanta, Georgia.

Frank Rodriguez  

One of the oldest living West Virginia University men's basketball alums has died. Frank Rodriguez, a 5-foot-11, 170-pound guard who played for coaches Lee Patton and Red Brown in the late 1940s and early 1950s, died in an assisted living facility in St. Clairsville, Ohio, on Sunday, March 13.

Peyton Hall  

Coming off an eighth-place finish at the 2022 NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships to become the 34th All-American in program history, sophomore Peyton Hall of the West Virginia University wrestling team has been named the WVU Student-Athlete of the Week, presented by University Apartments.
