Mountaineer Gear Sale  

The WVU Department of Intercollegiate Athletics will conduct its fourth Mountaineer Gear sale on Saturday (April 23) from 9–11 a.m., in the Caperton Indoor Practice Facility with more than 4,000 items on sale.

PNC Park  

Due to expected inclement weather in the Pittsburgh area on Tuesday, the WVU baseball team's game against Pitt at PNC Park has been moved to Wednesday (April 20). First pitch at the home of MLB's Pittsburgh Pirates is now set for 1 p.m.

Gordon Gee  

Amy Pridemore, director for the Center of Literacy and Financial Education for the John Chambers College, established a financial literacy course two semesters ago for WVU student-athletes, and it was through her efforts that she was able to connect with Robinhood Markets vice president of external affairs Mary Elizabeth Taylor. Born out of their initial conversations is today's unique partnership with Robinhood, the stock trading app, to establish the first Division I financial education program in the country for student-athletes.

West Virginia University Director of Athletics Shane Lyons has announced that the "Backyard Brawl" football series with Pitt, one of the nation's oldest and most intense rivalries, has been scheduled for four additional years (2029-2032).

Austin David WVU baseball player  

After helping the Mountaineers to four wins last week, senior outfielder Austin Davis of the West Virginia University baseball team has been named the WVU Student-Athlete of the Week, presented by University Apartments.

Woodburn Hall  

The Department of Intercollegiate Athletics announced that it will provide scholarship student-athletes with the opportunity for additional financial assistance based on their academic achievement and progress toward graduation.
