The WVU women's tennis team was named an Intercollegiate Tennis Association All-Academic Team for the ninth consecutive year, an announcement from ITA. In addition to the team's accolade, six members were tabbed as ITA Scholar-Athletes for their outstanding work in the classroom.

Fifth-year senior guard Madisen Smith of the Mountaineer women's basketball team has been selected to represent WVU and the Big 12 Conference at the first-ever Student-Athlete Summit at the National Basketball Association's Summer League. The event will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada, from July 12-15.
The annual WVU Football Ladies Huddle will be hosted at Milan Puskar Stadium Thursday, July 28, at 5 p.m. Participants can enjoy a cocktail and shopping hour, a facility tour of the newly renovated Puskar Center, on-field activities and lawn games, dinner and a program featuring coach Neal Brown and his wife, Brooke.
WVU women's basketball coach Dawn Plitzuweit has announced that Bernadette Devaney will join the support staff as the director of recruiting. Devaney comes to Morgantown after serving as an assistant coach at Lehigh for the previous three seasons.
Taking its usual high-profile place on the college basketball calendar, the Women's Cancun Challenge has cemented its 10-team field for 2022 with all the action scheduled for the Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya. Games will take place Nov. 24-26 at the all-inclusive resort, with teams and fans in walking distance to the converted ballroom that hosts the tournament.
