WVU Medicine is pleased to announce that Dr. Christopher E. Mascio will lead pediatric cardiac services for WVU Medicine Children’s, serving as the executive director of the new WVU Medicine Children’s Heart Center and division chief of Pediatric Cardiothoracic Surgery in the Department of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery.

It’s been 10 years since former WVU Emergency Medicine resident Greg Seftick died in an avalanche at Wyoming’s Grand Teton National Park. All contributions will help ensure that his interest in wilderness medicine influences future generations of students and provides opportunities for involvement in the activities and conferences he enjoyed.
Dr. Brijesh Patel will present "Cancer and Heart Disease from a Cardio-Oncologist's Perspective" as part of the Medicine Grand Rounds Friday (May 28) at 8 a.m. over Zoom and in person at the Fukushima Auditorium, Room 1901.
Drs. Michael Chang and Evan Field will be the presenters for the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences Grand Rounds today (May 26) at 7 a.m. Chang will present a case of bilateral vision loss and Field will present a case of acute unilateral vision loss.
