The West Virginia Area Health Education Centers are pleased to announce that applications are now open for the Rural Community Health Scholars program. WV AHEC Rural Community Health Scholars is a two-year program available to 75 of West Virginia’s top health professions students interested in rural health care across the state.
All faculty are invited to attend the WVU Health Sciences Center Faculty Development Program presentation "Surgical Education in the Era of Office-based, Wide-Awake, Orthopaedic Surgery" Wednesday (July 7) from noon to 1 p.m.
Three additional post-MSN certificate programs are now offered by the WVU School of Nursing including Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Nurse Executive Leadership certificate programs.
Photographers will be available at the Health Sciences Studio on Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Construction is ongoing at Health Sciences, but individuals can still safely access the photo studio, located at G290 in Health Sciences South.
