In celebration of the nation’s 250th birthday, the College of Creative Arts and Media will host the Morgantown Municipal Band’s Independence Day Concert at 11 a.m. July 4 in front of the Canady Creative Arts Center.

Thirty-eight graduates were inducted as lifelong members into the WVU Chapter of Phi Beta Kappa, a national honor society that recognizes outstanding achievement in the liberal arts and sciences, and champions freedom of thought.

Ethan Hunt, a Regents Regents Bachelor of Arts graduate who initially came to WVU Tech as a business student, is starting medical school at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine.

Daney Brookover completed her final semester at WVU on a high note by receiving the Bernhard R. Works Master Crafts Award at the 2026 United States Institute for Theatre Technology Conference in Long Beach, California.
