The West Virginia University School of Public Health and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported observation results for the sixth week of 'MASCUP!', an ongoing mask observation study.

George Kelley  

WVU School of Public Health professor George A. Kelley has been appointed as a statistical reviewer for Regional Anesthesia & Pain Medicine, the official publication of the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine. In this role, he will serve as a primary reviewer for systematic reviews with and without meta-analysis.

Martha Thorn  

Martha Thorn, who coached the WVU women's tennis team from 1973 to 2000, passed away Sunday. Thorn, 83, was responsible for starting the women's tennis program at WVU one year after Title IX legislation was enacted in 1972.

The WVU baseball team continues its seven-game road trip by traveling to No. 24 Pitt for the latest edition of the Backyard Brawl on Tuesday (April 6). First pitch at Charles L. Cost Field is set for 3 p.m.

Isabella Sibley  

After scoring the game-winning goal in Saturday's 1-0 win over No. 10 Virginia, junior midfielder Isabella Sibley of the women's soccer team has been named the WVU Student-Athlete of the Week, presented by University Apartments.
