The event recognizes WVU’s productive and creative faculty who have published a book, released a CD or produced a full-length work in another medium. To be eligible, the work must have been published, released or produced between Jan. 1 and Dec. 31, 2020.

Martha Thorn, who coached the WVU women's tennis team from 1973 to 2000, passed away Sunday. Thorn, 83, was responsible for starting the women's tennis program at WVU one year after Title IX legislation was enacted in 1972.
