Four Critical Language Scholarship award recipients  

Four West Virginia University women have been awarded the Critical Language Scholarship from the U.S. Department of State, recognizing their commitment to language learning and personal growth. The awardees will participate in fully-funded virtual intensive language and cultural immersion programs this summer.

In conjunction with the WVU Foundation, the Pride of West Virginia has launched a crowdfunding campaign to create the WVU Feature Twirler Scholarship Fund. The campaign kicks off as the band selects its Feature Twirlers for the 2021 season.

Three engineering students have received valuable internship opportunities with one of the nation’s leading manufacturers of rugged, reliable firearms, Sturm, Ruger & Co. During the internship, the students will be focusing on the refinement of the manufacturing process for their products and in product design.

Mary L. Euler, professor and associate dean for admissions and student affairs at the WVU School of Pharmacy, has been elected honorary president for the American Pharmacists Association for 2022-23.
