This week's Department of Medicine Grand Rounds will feature a discussion on care conferences hosted by Dr. Laurel Lyckholm over Zoom Friday (Jan. 7) at 8 a.m.
In March 2020, the legislature passed Bill 787, allowing pharmacists to be reimbursed for the health services they provide. This spring, the American Pharmacists Association will honor the woman whose leadership paved the way for this effort and many others.
This seven-session, web-based conference series will provide information on genetic services for medically underserved populations, focusing on the rural, Appalachian region. The goal is to set an agenda for care provision and research in the Appalachian region. A question and answer session will follow each presentation.
Effective Jan. 5, HSC-ITS will be implementing single sign-on and multifactor authentication for all HSC Zoom accounts. All users will use their WVU or WVUM Login credentials when logging in Zoom. This change will not affect users who do not have a Zoom account and only function as a meeting participant.
Dr. William Marshall has been the Director of the West Virginia University School of Dentistry General Practice Residency program for 18 years. His history with WVU began when he completed an undergraduate degree in pharmacy in 1974.
