The WVU School of Medicine’s Department of Radiation Oncology has named Dr. Parvez Shaikh as interim chair, effective Dec. 12, 2021.

As part of the School of Nursing’s Judy C. Kandzari Memorial Lectureship, Dr. Lisa Kirk Wiese will present “Creating a Culture of Caring for Older Adults in Rural Settings” Thursday, April 21, at 6 p.m. in the WVU Health Sciences’ Okey Patteson Auditorium.

This week's Department of Medicine Grand Rounds will feature a presentation from Dr. Sunil Sharma "Disruptive Innovation to Address the Sleep Health Crisis” on Zoom Friday (Jan. 28) at 8 a.m.

All faculty are invited to attend the WVU Health Sciences Center Faculty Development Program presentation “Using Assessments to Enhance Student Learning and Engagement” Wednesday, Feb. 9, from noon to 1 p.m.

The WVU School of Medicine will host a virtual LGBTQ Health Week Lecture Series Feb 1-3, sponsored by the Student Healthcare Alliance for Promoting Equality. All lectures will take place from noon-12:50 p.m. on Zoom.
