Behind 13 shots on goal, the No.18-ranked West Virginia University women's soccer team cruised to a 5-0 win over Saint Francis (Pa.) at Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium on Sunday afternoon in Morgantown.

The Mountaineers (8-0) closed out competition at the WNY Invitational in Buffalo, New York, on Saturday, with a win over Buffalo (4-4), at Alumni Arena. The squad closed the tournament with a 3-0 tournament record and held on to their undefeated season.

West Virginia University is updating its mask guidelines. Beginning Monday, Sept. 13, all individuals, regardless of vaccination status, will be required to wear a mask indoors in all WVU System buildings and facilities through Oct. 6, when public health conditions will be reevaluated.

West Virginia University will observe the inaugural Medical Amnesty Awareness Week (Sept. 13-17) and the 4th Annual Hazing Prevention Week (Sept. 20-24) as part of a University-wide effort to keep students safe and also aware of their options in case of an emergency.

Order of Vandalia 2021  

Six people, including two former WVU presidents, will be honored today (Sept. 10) for their loyalty and service to the University as they are inducted into the Order of Vandalia. The ceremony honors both the 2020 and 2021 inductees since it could not be held last year during the pandemic. It also honors the Vandalians who have died during the past two years and honors the contributions of all the Order’s members.
