The West Virginia University gymnastics team's floor exercise lineup continues to rank in the top 25 of the Road to Nationals Rankings, as announced on Monday. WVU (2-2, 0-2 Big 12) holds on to its top-10 ranking on floor, checking in at No. 8 with a 49.308 season average on the event. West Virginia appears in the national floor rankings for the third consecutive week.

The West Virginia University track and field travels to the Akron Invitational in Akron, Ohio, on Feb. 4-5, at the Stile Athletics Field House. Friday's events are set to begin at 4 p.m. ET, and resume Saturday at 10 a.m. Live results can be found at wvusports.com.
In-person classes with a start time prior to 10 a.m. are canceled on West Virginia University’s Morgantown campus Friday, Feb. 4, due to anticipated inclement weather and worsening road conditions. Online classes are not affected. The remainder of the University, including buses and the PRT, began normal operations at 9 a.m.; however, WVU students and employees should call ahead before venturing out to ensure locations and services are open as conditions may change or services may be limited.

The WVU Humanities Center will host a hybrid workshop for faculty members on the value of Humanistic STEM learning in academia Friday (Feb. 4) at noon via Zoom. Due to inclement weather and air travel concerns, the center will offer the workshop as a Zoom-only, rather than as a hybrid event.
WVU Libraries will host an Open Textbook Workshop and Textbook Review March 10 at 10 a.m. that will help instructors explore possible open textbook solutions to address the growing cost of textbooks.
