Appalachian Futures

“Appalachian Futures,” WVU Libraries’ multidisciplinary exhibition, addresses the current mainstream narratives about Appalachia in a new way by looking at how the people of Appalachia have worked and will work to rewrite their own stories. The exhibition is on display at the WVU Potomac State College Mary F. Shipper Library through December. Then, it will travel to WVU Institute of Technology for display in the campus library.

Eberly College of Arts and Sciences welcomes to its faculty a group of educators and researchers from West Virginia University and institutions across the world.

Roger Mary Amos

Roger Amos and his wife, Mary Jane, gifted the Davis College of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Design $55,000 to establish the Glenn and June Amos Memorial Fund for Animal and Nutritional Sciences Enhanced Learning. The permanently endowed fund will provide support for undergraduate research, internships and study abroad programs.

Legal Fellow

Every summer, a group of law students from WVU spread out across the state to help those in need. These Public Interest Advocates Summer Fellows work in local organizations that provide legal services to low-income clients, the elderly, children, victims of domestic violence, veterans and others.
