Juliana Kingsborough  

Juliana Kingsborough, a junior sport and exercise psychology major from Ridley Park, Pennsylvania, chose the College of Physical Activity and Sport Sciences because of the numerous doors it could open for her career plans. The SEP program supports Kingsborough’s career pathway by providing her with the “perfect foundation” to build upon for the future.

Associate professor of geology and geography James Lamsdell fulfilled one of his childhood dreams when scientists from the New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science named a newly discovered fossilized creature after him: Hibbertopterus lamsdelli. The 4-foot-long fossilized creature was discovered in 305-million-year-old rocks in the Manzano Mountains of New Mexico.

This exciting event, held at WVU Potomac State College Saturday, March 26, from noon to 4 p.m., is a great source of information and inspiration for local youths. They will be exposed to new ideas and career paths.
